Walking Partners - Adopted

Hey Everyone,

A huge hello from N here….

I have big news for all of you. It might be bit shocking but I trust in all of your abilities that you will find in your heart to accept me as I am

Well…. To say in simple words

 I Got Adopted recently………

Yes, a handsome, athletic, cutest one adopted me today. When he saw me with those beautiful eyes, (sigh)…..

How can I describe the feeling when he walked along with me step by step, so agile, so charming, so caring to not collide with me. And how he looked out for me just walking few steps ahead to watch my path.

I fell in love instantly, now when I go for a walk I look for him, my eyes automatically search for his presence and my heart wont find solace until I have laid my eyes on him.

When he reaches out to get head scratches from me, I feel so blessed……..

And his puppy dog eyes, oh am sure this dog started the whole feel around the magic behind the puppy dog eyes….

I can’t believe I got adopted by a dog…. Am in heaven..,

Yes, a dog….. what were you thinking? …huh…. Naughty minds….

Well let me introduce you to Rocky, well of course it’s a name given by me. By now you should understand that I have penchant for naming everything and everyone.

Rocky is the sweetest companion one can ask for, he doesn’t talk the whole way, doesn’t feel lonely when you don’t talk to him, he doesn’t worry about my speed – he just walks to and fro until I reach where he is. He never gets angry that I didn’t share his interest of glaring at everyone, and the most sweetest thing is when I sit, he sits. He never questioned my ability (or disability) to not powerwalk the whole way.

One day out of the blue he just walked up to me, booped my leg with his nose and decided that I deserve his company in my walk.

Well once in a while he decides some other group need his company and guidance but he never misses to greet me by walking up to me for a head scratch.

He has a dog collar, so maybe he is somebody’s pet or was somebody’s pet. When I think it might be a ‘was’ it breaks my heart, because he is one of the most friendliest sweetheart you can meet on the way.

Oh! There are other dogs, who  are mostly bullies, because of territorial wars which keeps happening. There is clear boundary dividing the different gang territories and Rocky seems to be accepted in every territory. Because he just walks with me the whole way and no other dogs stop him or react to him.

I wonder if they could communicate like humans am sure their conversations would be lively.

Dog 1: Hey! Rocky, What’s up man

Rocky : Yo! Just making sure this hooman is fine. I took up her duty today.

Dog 1 : Cool man, just pass through, you good!

Rocky: Yeah, yeah - Will wag at you on my way back dude.

Anyways, my overactive imagination loves to think that Rocky loves the job of making sure his walkers are safe while they are here. He occasionally takes up big groups, am sure showing them all the dog worthy sights to see. And am quite sure he has adopted many walkers like me, because he just fell in love with us in a moment.

Can’t wait to walk with Rocky tomorrow, if he is not with his other regulars……

Silence

Silence was something she associated with very well. She was a calm, patient person from the moment she opened her eyes. Through family, schools and college, silence was something everybody expected of her. The major part of her small world was silent and she loved it. Married to a soft and calm guy, gave her leave to be silent further in her life. She loved her routine silent life and didn’t want to change a thing in it. Silence had a capacity to soothe her, it had a depth to allure her. Until one day.... Sadvi was feeling nauseous and tired that day, her health was her strong point. She was a very very healthy person and she worked well to keep it like that. But that day was different. She didn’t want to dwell on that so she took a leave and took rest. Felt happy that Sourav wanted to stay back to look after her, but she shooed him away and took rest. Her condition didn’t improve the next day or the next day or the next day. On the fourth day she finally decided to vi

Am fine...........

" Hi, friends, welcome to my story. Name is Sangeetha. This is the 143rd day of my hospitalization, am paralyzed from waist down and as far as the whispers go, I don't have much time left to finish paralyzing my whole ..........   Sangeetha saw that her mother who was holding handycam was shedding tears silently...   "Ma, what happened...???.... Ma, mamma, oh come on, don't cry......... Look at me mom... look am smiling, don't worry you will be fine.... "   and she smiled at her mom encouraging her to do the same. When her mother gave the most insincere smile of the world, she said in a soothing voice.    "Okay, close the handycam and come sit by me. We will finish recording after sometime. Now you tell me the story of how you met dad again."   Sujatha smiled back to her only daughter and she stopped recording, when she closed the screen the camera was blinking 7:43 a.m.     Exactly One year later....................

One summer afternoon...

This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 55 ; the fifty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Rashmi Kumar , the author of Hooked, Lined and Single and Jyoti Arora , the author of Lemon Girl . . Saritha looked up towards the clear sky, there was not a speck of cloud just sparkling blue. She mumbled to herself "looks like it might rain" . Then she shouted looking towards the balcony "Ramya, bring down the clothes. Looks like it might rain" Ramya who was cleaning the balcony peeked up towards the sky to see clear beautiful blue, she frowned and shouted back "Its ok ma, it is still very sunny. Let the clothes dry" It was a typical saturday afternoon in Ramnath Rao's house. Saritha was in the kitchen clearing up the dishes, Ramya was cleaning some part of the house, Chintu was already down for the afternoon nap, Ramesh was working on his computer and Ra
