My 10 most favourite songs

There will be days, once in a while when you want to just want to listen to all your favourite songs, the songs which touched you at one or the other time. And ofcourse sing along with it.. if possible in the loud voice, not caring what will anybody think J I understand that feeling, and today not only am going to listen and sing loudly those songs. But am going to share them with you. My 10 most favourite songs and why I like them.

I will start from 10th position to the first one.. like a count down (I know very dramatic)
10. A beautiful song from "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge". Sung by Lata Mangeshkar and   Udit Narayan....Na jaane mere, dil ko kya hogaya....

I really loved the song and the way they try to understand what they are feeling.. not ready to accept that they are in love.. but just cant ignore that maybe they are in love.... was crazy about this song for a long time. I still smile whenever i hear this song and ofcourse sing along every line..

9. Frozen sung by Madonna

A very sad song about how you can love if your heart is so cold and not open.... a song that if you are so closed and selfcentered how can you give warmth..
My favourite line is "You should know i suffered the same, if i lose you, my heart will be broken"....very beautifully sung .. you have close your eyes and listen to really feel it

8. Aaja piya tohe pyaar du - sung by Lata Mangeshkar......

Such a beautiful song about sharing, about being the shoulder to his sadness..
My favourite line "Sukh mera lele, mein dukh tera lelu, Tu bi jeeye, mein bhi jeeyu....."

7. Bolo na - by Sona Mohapatra.

A song about wondering how we grew apart.. what happened to lose all the love between us.. beautifully sung by Sona.
My favourite line "Tune bi meine bi badla kyon rastha.. bolo bolo he baat kya"

6. Abhi na jao chhod kar - Sung by Asha bhosle and Mohd.Rafi.

A song about how time flies when with a loved one, no matter how much time you spend with them, its always less... very nice, cute and sweet song.
My favourite line "Abhi toh kuch kaha nehin, abhi toh kuch suna nehin"

5. Mein zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya - sung by Mohd Rafi.

A song about no matter what life threw at me, I just lived it. Never worried never bothered.
Beautiful song that says to live in the present, not to bother about the past and not to worry about the future
My favourite line "Barbadiyon ka Jashn mana tha chala gaya"

4. Swing - By Pussy cat dolls

A beautiful dance number, you just have to hear it and you would want to dance to the rhythm. This song is not about the lines, its the music. It talks to you. Makes you sway in your seat :)

3. Abhi nehin aana sajna -Sona Mohapatra

A lovely song about how to enjoy waiting. She doesnt want to him to come early, because she  is loving every moment she is waiting for him. She wants to gets restless, miss him.. beautifully sung.
My favourite line "Mohe thoda marne de, intezaar karne de"

2. Raabta - sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, Hamsika

A song about made for each other. About how god has made one partner for everybody. And how she is perfect for him. sung very beautifully. love the twist in the lyrics, sounds like a tongue twister. But once you learn the lines you will never forget, ever.

My favourite "tu humsafar he, phir kya fhikar he, jeene ki wajah yehi he, marna isikeliye"

1. And my number one song.. a long time favourite, never stops making me sing with it

Leaving on a Jet plane - sung by John Denver. This song has been sung by many artist, but i like the voice of Joh Denver.
A song about goodbye. About the promise to wait. very very beautiful
This song was used in "Armeggeddon" movie also, and it is of slightly different tune.. i love both of them so posting both the videos... enjoy

My fouvrite line "Kiss me and smile for me, tell me you'll wait for me. Hold me like you never let me go"

Silence

Silence was something she associated with very well. She was a calm, patient person from the moment she opened her eyes. Through family, schools and college, silence was something everybody expected of her. The major part of her small world was silent and she loved it. Married to a soft and calm guy, gave her leave to be silent further in her life. She loved her routine silent life and didn’t want to change a thing in it. Silence had a capacity to soothe her, it had a depth to allure her. Until one day.... Sadvi was feeling nauseous and tired that day, her health was her strong point. She was a very very healthy person and she worked well to keep it like that. But that day was different. She didn’t want to dwell on that so she took a leave and took rest. Felt happy that Sourav wanted to stay back to look after her, but she shooed him away and took rest. Her condition didn’t improve the next day or the next day or the next day. On the fourth day she finally decided to vi

One summer afternoon...

This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 55 ; the fifty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Rashmi Kumar , the author of Hooked, Lined and Single and Jyoti Arora , the author of Lemon Girl . . Saritha looked up towards the clear sky, there was not a speck of cloud just sparkling blue. She mumbled to herself "looks like it might rain" . Then she shouted looking towards the balcony "Ramya, bring down the clothes. Looks like it might rain" Ramya who was cleaning the balcony peeked up towards the sky to see clear beautiful blue, she frowned and shouted back "Its ok ma, it is still very sunny. Let the clothes dry" It was a typical saturday afternoon in Ramnath Rao's house. Saritha was in the kitchen clearing up the dishes, Ramya was cleaning some part of the house, Chintu was already down for the afternoon nap, Ramesh was working on his computer and Ra
